Storyline
The Veilguard takes place a few years after Dragon Age: Inquisition concluded and finds the world once again on the verge of destruction due to instability within the Veil separating mortal life from Shadow realms. Players assume control of a hero belonging to an obscure order called Veilguard and must fight off deadly forces like those from Shadow world.
While on his journey, the hero encounters political intrigue, magical experiments, and deep-seated secrets which threaten the very fate of humanity. The main decision facing players in the game is whether to unite forces from various factions or try to resolve crises on his or her own.
Your adventure begins in a small settlement where rifts have already emerged as an imminent danger. Your task as protagonist will be to investigate the causes of Veil instability, unify divided factions, and find a way to save Thedas from certain death.
